Last night was a night to never forget. We (my mother in law,myself and my daughter Megan) went to the Phillies game. At first it was not a very exciting game, but in the top of the 9th Jimmy Rollins hit a home run tying the game 2 to 2. We staying only till the 11th inning but it went to 16 innings, the Phillies did not win but it was a great game.
My mother in law signed Megan up for the birthday package and in the 2nd inning they came down to her and made her stand on her chair and everyone in the crowd around us sang happy birthday to her and they sprinkled confetti all over her. She loved every moment of it. She asked my mother in law how they knew it was her birthday and she told her the Philly Phanatic knows everything. My Megan sweetly said oh okay, so the Philly Phanatic is like Jesus, he knows everything? It does not get any sweeter then that. Here are some pictures from the night.
